Nerve Wracking Day
So, Dan had his yearly physical on Wednesday, and it's typically just a couple of pokes and prods and some blood drawn and you're done. So, I called him in the afternoon after I knew he'd be home to confirm that everything was a-o.k. Well, it wasn't. Dan said the Physician's Assistant who did his physical found a little bump (in a not so comfy place to have one...we'll leave it at that) and wanted it ultrasounded to make sure it wasn't anything to worry about. Naturally he and I were both nervous about it... plus the potential for something being wrong (even if the doctor isn't that worried about it) really makes you think. So today I went with him to get the ultrasound and thankfully the technician didn't seem to think there was anything wrong though we won't know for sure for about a week. Fingers and toes will be permanently crossed until the doctor's office calls!! Other than that, it was just another weekday, except of course that it's freezing cold outside (anything below 25 is ridiculous here!!!) and a plane crashed into the Hudson river. Can you believe those poor people had to stand in a freezing cold river on the wing of a plane waiting for rescue?? They couldn't even wear shoes and coats! Unreal! Anyway, that's all for me, I'm off to watch a little tv. Until later...
